Fly: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Gorilla tracking - Wildebeest Migration

After enjoying gorilla tracking in Bwindi's impenetrable Forest National Park, you simply take a direct flight to Masai Mara in Kenya for a wildebeest migration. This flight departs/arrives at either Kisoro Airstrip in the southern part of Bwindi or  Kihihi Airstrip in the northern part of Bwindi.

Departure from Kisoro/Kihihi to Masai Masai Mara at 0945 arriving at 1445hrs

Departure from Masai Mara - Kisoro/Kihihi Bwindi at 0815 arriving at 1440hrs

Aerolink; Has flights between Bwindi, Masai Mara, and Serengeti with the help of their subsidiary operators like Airkenya in Kenya and Regional Air Services in Tanzania. They operate direct flights between Bwindi after Gorilla Tracking - Masai Mara for Wildebeest adventure: From Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park. The flights depart from different parts of Bwindi to different airstrips in Masai Mara, and from Masai Mara to different locations in Serengeti. Below is a list of airstrips that Aerolink flies to;

Safari Link/ Coastal Aviation

Safari Link together with Coastal Aviation operates the routes between Masai Mara and Serengeti with access from Tarime in Tanzania and Migori Kenya, Both of the airstrips are close to the border of Isibania. Here a driver/guide transfers you to the nearby airstrip depending on where you are to board from. 

Visitors are picked from anywhere in Serengeti by Coastal Aviation to Tarime, after immigration you are transferred by road to Migori - Kenya for your flight to Masai Mara and vice versa. When departing from Masai Mara, your flight will stop at Migori, then drive to Tarime for the second leg of the flight to Serengeti National Park with immigration processes in between at the border.

 

Departure Times by Safarilink/Coastal

Serengeti - Tarime at 0820, Then Migori to any airstrip in Masai mara at 1245

Masai Mara- Migori at 1130, Then Tarime to any airstrip in Serengeti at 1400

The in-between airstrip transfers by road are catered for by the flight operators, or by the ground agent which takes you across the Isabania Border of Kenya and Tanzania as well as between Masai Mara and Serengeti.

The connecting time is enough given the short distance between the airstrips.

The flights operate only in high season July to October; and December to March.
