Uganda is truly the pearl of Africa famous for mountain gorillas in the Bwindi National Park a home to half of the world’s gorilla population, River Nile voted as one of Africa's seven natural wonders with its source in Uganda. Uganda's Kibale National Park is popular for its high concentration of 13 species of primates mostly the chimpanzees. It also boosts of over 200 species of trees.

Experience Africa's wilderness in Kidepo Valley National Park, Africa's 3rd best National Park with its spectacular landscapes and plenty of mammals and big cats. Queen Elizabeth National is another top park in Uganda endowed with mammals, and great kyambura gorge. Uganda also hosts the Rwenzori Mountains known as the ‘Mountains of the Moon’ with the snow-capped highest peaks in the range. Tracking Gorillas Uganda Safaris
Tracking gorillas Uganda involve walking in the wilderness in search of these great apes the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable forest boosts of about  half of world’s Gorilla population and thus a hotspot for tracking gorillas in Uganda.
Irrespective of where you go for tracking, the tracking experience in the is the same. For a permit of $800, you are able to encounter these rare apes in their natural wild.
Gorilla Habituation Experience is another way of encountering the Mountain gorillas, this is more detailed as you get to spend a few more hours following the gorillas from the time they wake up from their nests along the way as they feed. Gorilla Habituation Experience permit is a little more costly at $1500 but more than worth its cost.

Chimp Tracking
Kibale Forest National Park is the home to a big population of Chimps and other primates. During the chimp Tracking, trekkers are split in groups and with their rangers/guides they head out to the forest to track man’s closest relative. Only a maximum of 8 people are allowed to visit a community of chimps at a time, this is all done to ensure that chimps don’t get uncomfortable. The trek may take anywhere between 2 – 7 hours depending on the movement of the chimps, one can be assured of one hour of being with the chimps to observe them, watch them play, swing in the tree branches, it is phenomenal.

Golden Monkey Tracking
Golden monkeys are rare and gorgeous primates endemic to the Virunga ranges, in Uganda its inhabits the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Golden monkey tracking is not as tedious as gorilla tracking, but worth doing. You can enjoy watching these gorgeous primates with its spectacular match of colors of its bright coloured fur and long golden hair mixed with orange by tracking or experiential activity much more like Monkey Habituation experience.

Day Trips
